Ixworth GP Surgery is based in Ixworth, a small village on the outskirts of Bury St Edmunds. The surgery looks after 9,500 patients and has an on-site pharmacy.
Ixworth GP Surgery got in contact with us in September 2022 after they were not happy with the service they were receiving from their previous nationwide cleaning contractor. In October 2022, we were awarded the cleaning contract at Ixworth where we now deliver upwards of 100 hours of cleaning per month.
We began services in February 2023, adhering to all TUPE regulations. Since we commenced the contract we have introduced improved cleaning methods & practices which will help the surgery to pass outcome 8 on their CQC inspections. We have also improved H&S practices adopted by the cleaning teams which will also help to reduce the risk of cross-contamination and infection control shall improve.
Additionally, a deep clean was carried out over the first two visits by our team which has resulted in great feedback on the improved cleaning standards.
